I offer photography for weddings, elopements, engagements, couples, boudoir, maternity & birth, branding for your business, and personal portrait sessions. Whether you're planning a wedding in the redwoods, celebrating a relationship milestone, or wanting to capture a more intimate or personal chapter of your life, I create images that feel effortless, emotional, and true to you.
I’m based in Humboldt County, California, and regularly photograph sessions along the Redwood Coast, including Eureka, Arcata, and surrounding areas. I also offer limited travel for destination weddings and elopements, especially those along the West Coast & in the Pacific Northwest.

Getting started is simple. From there, I’ll reach out to learn more about your vision, answer any questions, and walk you through the next steps.
Once we confirm availability and choose a package that fits your needs, a signed contract and retainer officially secure your date.

My approach to photography is rooted in creating images that feel natural, emotional, and true to you -not overly posed or forced! I’m less focused on perfect performance and more focused on capturing real moments, subtle in-between interactions, and the overall feeling of your experience. I want you to feel JOY in the process of creating memories.
I primarily shoot outdoors or on location, using natural light and the surrounding environment to shape each session. Whether that’s in the redwoods, along the coast, or at a meaningful place to you, the setting becomes part of the story rather than just a backdrop.
A big part of my style is creating a relaxed environment where you don’t feel like you have to “know what you’re doing” in front of the camera. I’ll guide you when needed, but I also leave space for things to unfold naturally, which is often where the best images come from. Plus, I strive to make you LAUGH, because real fun and real joy photograph stunningly.
Visually, my work leans soft, dreamy, and a little nostalgic, while still feeling grounded and real. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a couples session, boudoir, or branding imagery, the goal is always the same, to create photos that feel like you, not just something that looks good on a feed.
I photograph throughout Humboldt County, including Eureka, Arcata, and the Redwood Coast, and bring that natural landscape into many of my sessions for a distinct, place-driven feel.

The definition of “virago” from Merriam Webster is both:
a) a loud overbearing woman
and b) awoman of great stature, strength, and courage
The term Virago found me when I needed it most. When I was really finding my power for the first time. When the phrase “nasty woman” was being thrown around a lot in our culture.
To me, a Modern Virago is a bad bitch. Someone who faces this confusing and overwhelming world we live in now with courage and with optimism. Someone who is not afraid to be her whole self, does not aim to please the patriarchy, and does whatever the hell she wants!

My pricing varies depending on the type of session, location, and level of coverage needed. Most portrait sessions (couples, boudoir, personal, and branding) typically fall in the range of $200–$800, while weddings and elopements are custom quoted based on your plans.
I aim to offer what I think of as an everyday luxury photography experience, something that feels elevated, intentional, and high-quality, without being completely out of reach.

All sessions include a curated online gallery of high-resolution, edited images, with optional upgrades depending on your package.

Working with me is meant to feel easy, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable, not like a high-pressure photoshoot where you have to perform or “get it right.” Most of my clients come in saying they’re a little nervous or don’t know what to do in front of the camera, and that’s completely normal!! It is MY job to make sure you feel comfortable, and to make sure we get the shot. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I also create space for things to unfold naturally so your photos feel like you.
